About
Stephanie Porras is originally from Atenas, Alajuela, and has lived for eighteen years in Santa Teresa, on the Nicoya Peninsula. She studied Business Administration and currently works as a legal and administrative assistant, while also collaborating with various associations to serve the local community.
Deeply connected to the ocean, nature, and wildlife, Stephanie chose to make her home in this region. She has been part of the Futuro Verde community for ten years and has two children enrolled at the school—one in 10th grade and the other in 6th. She consistently participates in both curricular and sports activities.
Her interest in joining the Board of Directors stems from a desire to contribute ideas and help enhance both the academic and athletic performance of the institution, as well as to support the improvement of the school campus. She is particularly committed to strengthening the IB program and promoting Futuro Verde’s reputation as a high-quality educational institution.
Stephanie strongly believes in the power of unity and teamwork, confident that through collaboration, great achievements are possible.
During her time in Mexico, she discovered a passion for Natural Medicine, specializing in Herbal Therapy and Floral Medicine. Her primary goal is to foster stronger communication between the school and parents, striving to address community needs and encourage shared growth in a setting that values nature and conscious education.
