Creating a Community Education
The Futuro Verde Parent Board is comprised of 8 positions filled by parents committed to supporting our school community and helping ensure the good governance and continued development of Futuro Verde. We work collaboratively to represent parent perspectives, support the school’s administration and initiatives, and contribute to the long-term growth of our school.
The Board meets weekly as a group and twice a month with the administration. Board members are elected by the Futuro Verde Association for three-year terms, and all parents are welcome to become active members of the Association. Board positions are voluntary.
We also hold monthly open Board meetings, where parents are welcome to bring questions, ideas, comments, or concerns. In addition, we hold three general assemblies each year, where all parents are encouraged to participate.
We are proud to represent the families of Futuro Verde, and we want the Board to be a space where parents can contribute their ideas, skills, and energy to our community.
