Dear Futuro Verde Parents,
As we previously communicated to you, we would like to begin the implementation of a literary canon, where all students will read a set of books throughout the year as part of their English and Spanish language arts program.
In order to facilitate the process of purchasing the novels students will be reading in these first two months of the school year, we have done a preliminary search of the options available to purchase them. Those options are listed below in the link, for each grade level. We hope they are helpful to families.

1. Purchase of digital books.
They can be purchased in kindle or PDF format.
2. Purchase of physical books.
For this, families will have the list of the first two readings with which the teacher will start. These readings should be given priority for purchase. Futuro Verde has conducted a search of the titles requested by the teachers, and we have identified that all of them can be found with Rafaeli Books (book distributor) and with the International Bookstore.
3. How do I purchase a book from Rafaeli Books?
The process is very simple, you only need to send a WhatsApp message 8311-1196 indicating that you are a Futuro Verde family, the name of the student, the grade and the books you wish to purchase. The payment can be made by sinpe (to the same number) or by electronic transfer. Rafaelibooks will deliver the books once a week free of charge to the school. The books will arrive labeled with the student’s name and grade and parents will be notified to pick them up or to send them with the students.
4. How do I purchase a book from Libreria Internacional?
If you wish to contact Libreria Internacional, you must call 4000-7274 with José Pablo Retana (Lib. Internacional in Herradura, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm) and request the required novel. Payment will be made by sinpe and shipment by Correos de Costa Rica. In case there is no availability of the title in inventory (for the required quantity) they will place the order and it will take approximately one week to arrive.
You can also make the purchase on the bookstore’s online page (https://www.libreriainternacional.com) and the shipment will be made through Correos de CR. However, if you contact the seller directly he will be able to place the order in case it is out of stock on the online inventory.

Como se les comunicó anteriormente, queremos dar inicio a la implementación de un canon literario, donde todos los estudiantes leerán un conjunto de libros a lo largo del año, como parte de su programa de artes del lenguaje en inglés y en español.
Con el fin de facilitar el proceso de compra de las novelas que se estarán leyendo en nuestros dos primeros meses del año escolar, hemos realizado una búsqueda previa de las opciones disponibles para adquirirlas. 1. Compra de libros digitales.
Pueden adquirirse en formato kindle o PDF.

Para esto las familias tendrán la lista de las dos primeras lecturas con las que iniciará el docente. A estas lecturas se les debe dar prioridad de compra. Futuro Verde ha realizado una búsqueda de los títulos solicitados por los docentes, y hemos identificado que todos se pueden encontrar con Rafaeli Books (distribuidor de libros) y con la Librería Internacional.
3. ¿Que debo hacer para comprar un libro con Rafaeli Books?
El proceso es muy simple, solo deberán enviar un mensaje de WhatsApp 8311-1196 indicando que son familias de Futuro Verde, el nombre del estudiante, el grado y los libros que desean comprar. El pago lo pueden realizar por sinpe (al mismo número) o por transferencia electrónica. El envío Rafaelibooks lo hará una vez por semana de forma gratuita hasta la escuela. Los libros llegarán etiquetados con el nombre y el grado del estudiante y se notificará a los padres para que los retiren o bien para hacer el envío con los estudiantes.
4. ¿Que debo hacer para comprar un libro con Libreria Internacional?
Si desean contactar a la Librería Internacional, deberán comunicarse al 4000-7274 con José Pablo Retana (Lib. Internacional en Herradura, horario de 11:00 am a 7:00pm) y solicitar la novela deseada. El pago se hace por sinpe y el envío por medio de Correos de Costa Rica. En caso de que no hubiera disponibilidad del título en inventario (por la cantidad requerida) harán el pedido y tardará una semana aproximadamente en llegar.
También pueden hacer la compra en la página en línea de la librería (https://www.libreriainternacional.com) y el envío se realiza por medio de Correos de CR. Sin embargo, si se comunican directamente con el vendedor el podrá hacer el pedido en caso de que esté agotado en el inventario en línea.
