About
Daniela Sandi was born in Escazú, San José. As a child, her teachers and parents encouraged her to participate in the Math Olympiads where she fell in love with them and understood that they are more than just numbers. She studied Mathematics Education at the University of Costa Rica and is currently working on her graduation project for her bachelor’s degree. Although Mathematics is the least favorite subject for students, Daniela is determined to teach to delight, to teach with purpose and to make her classroom a safe space for learning. She is a homebody who enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, is a lover of crafts, nature, animals and physical activity.
