An amazing evening to be remembered and repeated!

Thank you Futuro Verde. It was an amazing evening!

Upon entering the Core:club, our guests were welcomed by the soothing sounds of Latin music, opening to a packed room where everyone was socializing and learning all about the magic of Futuro Verde.

Mateo and Elian transformed into the Two Princes of Costa Rica that special evening. They were magnificent! Guests were huddled around them excited to learn more about their lives and the school. The energy was alive and on true FV form, caring… Our guests were extremely interested in our school community, and their main question was “How can we help?”

We sold auction packages, auction items and most importantly, a number of student scholarships were successfully sponsored.

We made amazing contacts and the fundraising team is already working on next year’s event.

We are so grateful to all the parent volunteers and Futuro Verde staff that helped make this event a success. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

¡Una noche de gala inolvidable!

Gracias, Futuro Verde. ¡Fue una noche increíble!

Al entrar al club ‘Core’, nuestros huéspedes fueron recibidos en una sala donde una multitud estaba socializando y aprendiendo sobre la magia de Futuro Verde al ritmo de la relajante música latina.

Esa noche, Mateo y Elián se transformaron en los dos príncipes de Costa Rica. ¡Estuvieron magníficos! Los invitados se apiñaron alrededor de ellos, emocionados por aprender más sobre sus vidas y la escuela. La energía era espectacular y, de acuerdo con el espíritu FV, la gente se mostró muy solidaria. Nuestros invitados estaban extremadamente interesados ​​en nuestra comunidad escolar y su pregunta principal era “¿Cómo podemos ayudar?”

Vendimos paquetes y artículos de subasta y lo más destacado fue que varias becas estudiantiles fueron patrocinadas exitosamente. Hicimos contactos valiosos y el equipo de recaudación de fondos ya está trabajando en el evento del próximo año.

Estamos muy agradecidos con todos los padres voluntarios y el personal de Futuro Verde que ayudaron a que este evento fuera un éxito. Gracias, de todo corazón.

Big Apple here we come! We are only days away from an exciting Futuro Verde fundraising event in New York!

On May 7th we will proudly host the Futuro Verde Benefit reception at the prestigious CORE: club in New York City. The fundraiser will benefit our Capital Campaign and Student Scholarship program.

I will be accompanied by several parents, board members and staff. Two of our amazing scholarship students, Elian and Mateo, will also be speaking at the event. We are so proud of their bravery and enthusiasm to make this journey far from home.

We’ve lined up a distinguished guest list of potential donors, great food and a live auction. We look forward to a successful event and our hope is to continue these fundraisers annually.

Thanks so much to all the parent volunteers who have helped make this event happen! We wouldn’t have been able to do it without you all! The Futuro Verde community is a special group. Thanks for all the support.

¡De camino a la Gran Manzana!

¡De camino a la Gran Manzana! Faltan pocos días para un evento de recaudación de fondos de Futuro Verde en Nueva York.

El 07 de mayo celebraremos con orgullo el acto benéfico de Futuro Verde en el prestigioso club ‘CORE:club’ en la ciudad de Nueva York. El evento beneficiará a nuestra Campaña de Capital y al Programa de Becas para estudiantes.  Varios padres, miembros de la junta y personal me acompañarán. Dos de nuestros increíbles estudiantes becados, Elián y Mateo, también tomarán la palabra durante el evento. Estamos muy orgullosos de su valentía y entusiasmo por emprender este viaje largo.

Al evento asistirán invitados distinguidos, donantes potenciales, quienes disfrutarán de exquisitos platos gastronómicos mientras participen en una subasta en vivo. Esperamos que sea un evento exitoso que se pueda repetir anualmente.

¡Muchas gracias a todos los padres voluntarios que nos han ayudado! ¡No hubiéramos podido hacerlo sin todos ustedes! La comunidad de Futuro Verde es un grupo especial. Gracias por todo el apoyo.
