We are pleased to announce new clubs for the second trimester beginning next week. Clubs are another way that Futuro Verde enriches the lives of our students and the greater community. After school clubs are available for all school aged children of the area to attend. Clubs offered this trimester include:
- Gymnastics, beginner and advanced
- Sign Language
- Aerial silks
- Dance – Traditional and Latin pop
- Theatre
- Arts and crafts
- Guitar and ukulele
Feed your child’s soul, experiment and burn off energy! Please register your son/daughter by May 13th by filling out the online form below or by stopping by the administrative offices of Futuro Verde and speaking with Laura. Payment for each trimester for each club is made directly to the club leader. If you have any questions or concerns regarding payment, please speak directly with the club leader.

Estamos encantados de anunciar nuevos clubes para el segundo trimestre que comienza la próxima semana. Los clubes son otra manera de que Futuro Verde enriquece la vida de nuestros estudiantes y la comunidad en general. Los clubes están disponibles para todos los niños en edad escolar de la zona para asistir. Clubes que ofrece este trimestre incluyen:

Did you know that 5% of our pupils are study abroad students?
One, two, three, six months or one year – our students run the range of short and longer term stints with us.
Most come from countries where another language is spoken and the home culture is very different from our own. However, wherever they come from they all agree that Futuro Verde is different!
To be able to learn in a friendly and welcoming environment surrounded by nature makes our school a very different school.
At Futuro Verde everyone knows each other, students from different grades hang out with each other and their differences are integrated. Cultural diversity make us rich, the world shrinks and everyone, regardless of their home language or culture, fits in our global community school!

¿Sabía usted que el 5 % de nuestro alumnado son estudiantes que vienen del extranjero por un período corto?
Un mes, dos, tres, seis meses o un año- nuestros estudiantes se quedan con nosotros por períodos cortos o largo plazo.
La mayoría vienen de países donde se habla otro idioma y la cultura es distinta a la nuestra. Sin embargo, de donde sea que vengan todos concuerdan que ¡Futuro Verde es diferente!
Tener la oportunidad de aprender en un ambiente amistoso y acogedor rodeado de naturaleza hacen de la nuestra una escuela diferente.
En Futuro Verde todos se conocen, los estudiantes de distintos grados se mezclan y las diferencias se integran. La diversidad cultural nos enriquecen. ¡El mundo se achica y todos, sin importar su idioma y cultura, caben en nuestra escuela global y comunitaria!

Due to the increase in our student population this year and our desire to assure that each family has an adequate amount of time to meet with their child’s teacher(s) during parent/teacher conferences, we have modified our 2016 calendar.
In May, there will be a day and a half with no school in order to hold conferences with all families, instead of only one day as originally scheduled.
Students will attend on Thursday, May 19th until 12:00, at which point they should be bused or picked up to go home. Teachers will then hold conferences on Thursday from 1:00-5:00 and all day on Friday from 8:00-5:00.
Thank you for your understanding and support of this important change that will assure effective communication between teachers and parents.
The date changes for the second and third trimesters will be communicated during the respective trimesters.
